The missionaries that live there with the Turkana have helped to build 103 stone dams and 75 sand dams that help to store the little rain that falls in this area.

- Priority needs to be given to resolving this problem, for if there is no life there can be no life expectancy.

- A further added problem is that the Turkana are nomadic livestock farmers and need water for their animals.
